Consultations: Your first step at Life Management Center is always a consultation. Our consultant’s job is to help you find what is and is not working, then to design and cooordinate this plan with you.
Referrals: Step two is often the appropriate referral based on your individual needs. LMC’s Medical Committee sets our guidelines for your referral. Referrals can be made for:
- Medical Intervention
- Testing
- Interpretation and planning what to do with your testing results
- Behavior modification
- Tutoring
- Coaching
- Parent Training
Tutoring: (grades 1 – graduate level)
Unlike most tutoring centers, our hallmark at LMC is our learning specialist who creates a unique program for you and your individual needs. We encourage including your teachers, physicians, and counselors.
Coaching: (ages 14 and above)
Coaching (created by Edward Hallowell, M.D.) and Mentoring (advocated by Robert Brooks, Ph.D.) can be additional complements to your program.
This innovative approach has already helped turn around the learning cycle of many of Charleston’s students.
This is a very easy way to:

- set and meet goals
- stay on top of school assignments
- set career priorities and deadlines
Coaching can be done:
