The Global Achievement Gap Conference

Since 1995, LifeManagement Center has hosted educational conferences to equip teachers, parents, and mental health professionals to meet the needs of our community. Previous speakers include Dr. Russell Barkley, Dr. Robert Brooks, and Dr. Edward Hallowell.

This year's conference was held on January 25, 2012, and featured Dr. Tony Wagner, the first Innovation Education Fellow at the Technology & Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard. He is the founder and former co-director of the Change Leadership Group at the Harvard Graduate School.

PAIS school parents were invited to a parent night with Dr. Wagner at Porter-Gaud school on the evening of January 24th.

Dr. Wagner presented on "The Global Achievement Gap: Why Even Our Best Schools Don't Teach the New Survival Skills Our Children Need--and What We Can Do About It"
