Conference on “The Global Achievement Gap” Wednesday, January 24th
CHARLESTON- LifeManagement Center (LMC) is pleased to announce that our 15th Southeastern Educational Conference, Bringing Schools Together, will be held on January 25th, and feature the first Innovation Education Fellow at the Technology and Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard, Tony Wagner, Ed.D. Dr. Wagner’s topic will be “The Global Achievement Gap: why even our best schools don’t teach the new survival skills our children need- and what we can do about it”. Dr. Wagner’s topic is of interest to businesses, parents and educators concerned about improving the quality of the future workforce.
Eight members of the Palmetto Association of Independent Schools (PAIS) will send their entire faculty and administrative staff (over 500 people) to the conference on January 25th.
This year’s participating schools will include Addlestone Hebrew Academy, Ashley Hall, Charleston Collegiate School, Charleston Day School, Mason Preparatory School, Pinewood Preparatory School, Porter-Gaud School, and Trident Academy. Individuals may register on the lifemanagement.org website for $159. Registration includes a continental breakfast and a boxed lunch.

This is the fifteenth conference hosted by LifeManagement Center, a South Carolina-based 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that offers solutions to transform educational and professional challenges into life achievements for children, families, adults, and communities.
